Paul is one of two members of the Whitenoise team who are here because their significant others are from these 'ere parts. In Paul's case she was the girl literally next door when he studied at Manchester Metropolitan University.
Having had grand designs on being a geologist from an early age, he didn't fancy growing a beard and clambering round rocks all day, so as a result, he's now content being a DJ trapped in a designers body.
Originally from the Wirral on Merseyside, Paul lived in Manchester for seven years where amongst other things (his wife included) he developed a love of music which still plays a big part in this man's life.
While he can't actually sing, he relieves his X-Factor tendencies on PlayStation's SingStar, but does DJ at parties. A big fan of the late John Peel (who was also from the Wirral) Paul's into every form of music - except country and western, which is understandable.
