MARK CASE

DIRECTOR

There are some people you could see doing other things. But not Mark Case. Mark is a designer, a creator. Someone with a sideways view of life and a leader who likes to surprise and delight as he swims against the tide of this world.

A constant surprise to his exasperated wife Karen, they have two daughters who have inherited his love of art, and all things creative. And it's this deep-veined creative streak that led him to York College of Art and his first real job as a junior designer in South Yorkshire back in the early '80s.

But even before he started up the greasy pole he was notching up commissions at school. His first, an illustration of a Star Wars - inspired spaceship commissioned by his chemistry teacher, netted the princely sum £25. Not bad for a 15 year old in 1977 I suppose.

While he has moved on a bit since that first assignment, his work doesn't define him, neither does the success that Whitenoise enjoys. This laidback and pragmatic family man is thankful for what he has and evidently enjoys what he does and the opportunities that it has brought.

Mark is Co-Director of Whitenoise and since July 2000 has built the company into the largest graphic design studio in Northern Ireland. He has moulded the company's design offering, ensuring quality, accurate and individual creative solutions are achieved for every client.
