A new edition to the design team is Kirsty Wright a first class honours graduate of the Blackpool & Fylde College, 2009. Kirsty, originally from Lurgan, has gained wide experience of the industry in the two years since graduation, working freelance for Manchester City Council and most recently Manchester's The Chase.
Kirsty was keen to be involved with us having presented her portfolio a few years back, when at home on a break. She is an aficionado of French film, particular favourites being "Jean de Florette", "Amelie"" and animations by the Japanese Studio Ghibli. Now based in Belfast Kirsty intends to be a regular at Queen's Film Theatre for her weekly fix of foreign films.
She enjoys collecting random things like her slide projector which she uses to display quirky, historic slides which she rescued from imminent binning back at college. Kirsty finds Ralph Waldo Emerson's advice "always do what you are afraid to do" inspiring. Her favourite word is 'pernickety'.
