Medium Weight Designer

Whitenoise is looking for a driven and highly creative Middleweight designer to join our busy and growing brand team. Whitenoise works with companies across the UK, Ireland and the globe in a variety of sectors including finance, logistics, tech, culture, education, food and drink. This position offers the candidate an opportunity to play a key role in successfully meeting the creative and strategic needs of our clients, whilst working in a fun, relaxed and supportive environment.

You MUST have an impressive portfolio which showcases your best work on a wide range of project types including brand development, ad campaign creative, literature production and retail / environmental branding.

In evidence of the above, we want to see a great CV with full education and work history and references and a portfolio showcasing your best work.

Attention to detail, excellent typesetting skills and a strong sense of pride in your work are also essential. Your working day will include attending client briefings and presentations, working collaboratively on design projects, noting and accounting time expenditure against project deadlines and liaising with printers and other suppliers to ensure production quality standards are maintained.

You will be fully familiar with the major Adobe CC graphics apps, have a handle on ePubs, understand print like the back of your hand and be comfortable with up-skilling and knowledge-sharing with the rest of the studio, including our motion and film teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Attending client briefings and presentations

  • Working collaboratively on design projects

  • Working independantly on design projects 

  • Producing creative campaign ideas

  • Noting and accounting time expenditure against project deadlines

  • Liaising with printers and other suppliers to ensure production quality standards are maintained

REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least 3 years agency experience.

  • A strong portfolio demonstrating a passion for design with excellent typographic and layout skills.

  • Be highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite especially InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop

  • Attention to detail with good verbal and written skills.

  • Confidence in presenting concepts to clients and maintaining client relationships

  • Be a good team player but also self-motivated.

  • Have the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining standards

  • Manage projects from concept stage through to final artwork

  • Have an awareness of how brands extend into digital platforms

Motion Graphics Artist

We have a really exciting opportunity for a new Motion Graphics Artist to join our team.

We’re looking for someone with tons of passion, creativity and an eye for detail. As part of the role, you’ll have the opportunity to be trained up and gain experience in all aspects of the creative process from ideation to delivery - all in an exciting agency environment with amazing clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Working within a small team of animators, tackling creative briefs, animation, and motion branding
  • Producing GFX and branding ident toolkits for video projects
  • Creating concept styleframes and storyboards based on supplied project briefs and client brand guidelines 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A basic understanding and appreciation of design, composition, narrative, timing and animation
  • To be an adaptable ‘quick learner’ who is happy to get hands-on
  • A passion for animation, film and visual movement
  • A good understanding of Adobe CC (After Effects, Premiere, Audition, Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Excellent attention to detail

Head of Film & Animation Production

Whitenoise is growing, with new clients and contracts added each week. With this in mind, we are looking to hire an experienced producer to help service our new and existing clients.

The right applicant for this job will have ample experience producing business-to-business video and animation projects. 

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE

  • Communicating with clients, taking briefs and communicating this to staff in a clear and efficient manner
  • Generating ideas that match the client briefs and managing the workflow of the project through to completion 
  • Managing timescales for all projects 
  • Leading team meetings
  • Managing client relationships
  • Working closely with the company directors to ensure that clients and staff are happy
  • Production of business to business videos, including sourcing locations and actors, producing schedules and call-sheets to ensure film shoots run smoothly
  • Production of business to business animations, including sourcing of voiceover artists

You’ll be working closely with our excellent editors and animators to ensure we consistently deliver high-quality content to our clients.

REQUIREMENTS

  • At least five years experience in the production of both video and animated content 
  • Ability to demonstrate projects you have managed
  • A good understanding of the film and animation production process
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills

Videographer

Our film production client portfolio continues to grow and we now have a fantastic opportunity for a Videographer to join our growing team!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Setting up film shoots including venue, lighting, sound, and camera
  • Working with Motion Graphic Designers to create assets to be used during postproduction
  • Editing footage and audio, ensuring the output meets the project requirements and quality standard
  • Taking a proactive approach to improve production and postproduction processes and practices

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience in using Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Proven work experience operating as a videographer
  • Real focus on customers including service delivery and customer service
  • Strong service orientation with the ability to interpret client needs
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
