NEED I SAY MORE?

26 Jul

I don’t think this needs any explanation. Really.

At long last…

14 Jul

It’s been far too long since my last update, so apologies. Here’s a quick roundup of some of the projects that have been keeping us busy of late. First up, some good news:

BBC Awards Success…
BBC Northern Ireland were chuffed to win a ‘Best Partnership’ award at the BBC internal marketing awards for 2010, with their work on the ‘Tall Ships’ campaign. Beating off such high profile competition as Eastenders and the BBC iPlayer, this was a special achievement for us as it was the first project we worked on with the BBC NI team!

Show Time Again…
We are delighted to have secured the Balmoral Show account for another three years. There was a lot of competition to secure this high profile account, but Paul and his team of agri-creative geniuses won the day, so watch out for more show fun next year!

Right – now onto the work: First up check out the latest edition of Northern News, by yours truly…

Next up, I know this one is kind of old news and the project has already been highlighted in a previous post, but these outdoor apps of the Beat Carnival’s Puppet Picnic were too nice not to show. This one’s a bit of a team effort, with Rory, Mark Canavan and Christine all working on different elements…

Next up we’ve Lynsay’s promo work for Carrick Council’s Amphitheatre…

And her branding for the Carrick Summer Band concert programme…

Sticking with Lynsay, here’s her latest for Invest NI’s staff magazine, InsideInvest…

Moving onto National Museums, here’s Kerries promo work for the NMNI American Independence Day events at the Ulster American Folk Park…

Closely followed by Christine’s work on their Bluegrass Festival…

And while we’re on NMNI, say hello to Rory and Paul’s delightful catalogue to commemorate the exhibition of paintings from the Ulster Museum currently on loan to Number 10 Downing Street…

Staying with NMNI, here’s the new ads I worked on for their current Summer brand campaign…

And here’s Lynsay’s doordrop mailer…

And finally, we have Christine’s ‘Kids Go Free’ campaign…

Moving on to the the continuously growing Survitec Group, here’s a quick look at my ongoing brand development work…

And that’s about it for now. Keep checking back for more graphical goodness.

A few we missed…

21 Jun

Here’s a few stragglers from last week we forgot to show. First up, it’s the Belfast Beat Puppet Picnic, and if anyone was in the city over the weekend they couldn’t have failed to see it:

And here’s the fab Festival programme, courtesy of Rory:

Congratulations to David Boyd and all the Beat Initiative team (including the lovely Sandara Kelso-Robb) for putting on a fantastic show. Next up we have good friend of Whitenoise and multi-talented rock monster (so his PA tells me) Brian Houston, who’ll be launching his latest Mark C-designed album ‘The Raw Sessions’, ‘any day now’…

Here’s Christine’s latest edition of the Banbridge District Council ratepayer’s magazine, ‘The Cutting Edge’

And sticking with Christine, here’s her 2010 Annual Report for the LloydsTSB Foundation:

And finally, back to me – here’s a first glimpse of the upcoming edition of Northern Bank’s Northern News magazine. Check back later this week for a more in-depth look.

And that’s it. Now, back to work…

Business as usual…

15 Jun

It’s business as usual in Whitenoise, and here’s a quick roundup of our current and recent activities. In no particular order, first up here’s lovely client Brian Hurrell of Ulsterbus Tours (with red tie and trophy) at the recent UK Coach Tourism Awards where he snatched first prize for the Kerrie-designed Summer 2010 Summer Breaks brochure (see below for a reminder):

Next up here’s the redesigned Probation News, for the Probation Board for Northern Ireland, courtesy of yours truly:

Now take a look at Lynsay’s excellent 2010 Annual Report for the Northern Ireland Prisoner Ombudsman:

Sticking with Lynsay, here’s her promo for the Carrick Armed Forces Day events:

And here’s Steven’s excellent promo for the Carrick Summer Scheme:

Closely followed by his new catalogue for Drinks Inc:

And now for something completely different -here’s Adam’s new website for our good friends at the Poppintree Youth Project in Ballymun, near Dublin:

Led by that small stick of dynamite Fran McVeigh (see below), these guys are doing a great job working with young people in the area, and it’s a pleasure to be involved with them in building a warm and friendly environment for the kids who visit:

Sticking with Steven, next up is his recent work for the new PSNI Drugs awareness campaign:

And that’s about it for now – other projects keeping us busy include the new NMNI Titanic Exhibitions branding, a new branding campaign for Northern Bank, trade shows for Survitec in Greece, Sweden nd Germany, Annual Reports for the Probation Board, Translink and the Policing Board and Chapter Two of the Dear Spider iPhone App, to name jut a few… Keep checking back for more on these an other projects over the coming days.

Bye for now,

Mark C
