Business as usual…

27 Feb

So it’s business as usual at the Ideas Factory. Various current projects include new marketing materials for RFD…

I have been asked to give a big shout out to ace photographer, Chris Heaney, for risking life and limb in the freezing waters off the Norwegian coast in pursuit of the above very dramatic shots – the boy done good…

And here’s what we’re up to for new client, Decora Blinds…

Pepsi are keeping us busy too…

And let’s not forget friends and neighbours NICFC…

On a different note, Whitenoise are taking part in the re-opening exhibition at the Ulster Hall, which features posters commemorating notable gigs over the years – this is our submission, from Steven Forbes, for the  Strokes gig in November 03. Legendary…

Staying on a non-commercial theme, here’s what Professor Paul Allen would do if he could exercise god-like powers and enable his cats to speak…

Talking of Professor Allen, here’s his ‘alter ego’ calling card, advertising his phenomenal moustache-growth serum – it really works, or your money back!

That’s it for now – I may post something else before close of play, but if not, see you after the weekend.

Oh My Word…

23 Feb

It’s not very often you’ll see something on these here pages that hasn’t had some Whitenoise involvement, but professor Paul Allen put this on his Facebook and I felt compelled to share it. Brilliant concept, brilliant animation, and a sad story very well told…

What a carry-on, as my old dad would say. Can’t finish on a complete downer though, so here’s today’s ‘alter-ego’ card, for Lynsay’s Kitty Emporium…

Check back tomorrow for some real work.

Oh yes, one last thing…

Hey, nearly forgot this one too – must be an age thing… Peedy has been extra extra busy slaving away on an amazing ‘Minority Report’ style touchscreen thingy for the upcoming Belfast City Council event in Nice, France. Want to see what it does? thought so…

How cool is that?

Ahoy there…

Ever wondered what the world’s largest liferaft looks like? Check out the the RFD Marin-Ark, undergoing heavy weather sea trials off the Norwegian coast last week…

Properly titled a marine evacuation system, this monster can safely hold up to 632 passengers and is a world-beater, designed and built right here in Northern Ireland by RFD, our lovely client. As well as getting our feet wet recording the sea trials (the Marin Ark passed with flying colours, naturally) we are currently putting the finishing touches to various projects including the Seatrade show stand bound for Miami, USA, new product literature, a DVD, and more website work for this world leader in marine and aviation survival technology… phew!

On a different note, and seeing as it’s Friday and I’m in a reasonably good mood, here’s another of our ‘alter ego’ calling cards – this time for Ryan Kane’s fashionable line in spidey jewellery – bling-tastic! Not sure where the possessive apostrophe went on this one though…

See you on the other side…

The evolution is coming…

19 Feb

Forgot about this one, so here’s a quick reminder to all our clients and blog-followers who live in the region of the ‘other’ Newcastle – the evolution is coming!

Well done to Christine for the delightful graphics. Check out the Evolution site HERE for more.
