Nose to the grindstone…

30 Jan

It’s business as usual at the Ideas Factory. Alongside lot’s of cool digital projects progressing through the studio, we’ve been kept pretty busy on design for print media too. Here’s a quick catch-up on what we’ve been up to over the last few weeks.

First up, here’s Lynsay’s programme for the World Police & Fire Games, hosted here in Belfast for 2013…

Sticking with Lynsay, here’s her latest work for Carrickfergus Borough Council…

And her new ‘What’s On’ guide for National Museums Northern Ireland…

Moving on to Laura, here’s some more Titanica work for NMNI…

And here’s Kirsty’s latest outdoor recruit campaign for Allstate…

Next up, here’s a lovely little events programme for the Dickens Society by Steven…

Meanwhile, Kerrie has been kept busy on the new ad campaign for BBC Sports NI…

And the branding for ‘A Night in November’, Marie Jone’s new play at the Grand Opera House Belfast…

And finally, here’s her promotional work for the NMNI ‘Street Art’ exhibition…

And finally, check out Matt’s website for the Irish Congress of Trade Union’s ‘Youth Connect’ programme (click the image to go to the site)…

Well that’s it for now folks. As usual, keep checking back for more on a regular basis…

FLYING THE FLAG…

27 Jan

Great news – Whitenoise have been appointed by the Arts Council of Northern Ireland to deliver an integrated package of design materials for the 2012 Cultural Olympiad – a cornerstone of Northern Ireland’s contribution to the 2012 Olympics. We’ll be responsible for the totality of advertising and promotional activities, covering print, web, digital media, film and live events.

Our experience working with Orange on music and arts events UK-wide obviously put us in pole position but we didn’t rest on our laurels, pulling together a strong presentation against stiff competition. As part of our preparation to tender, we had reason to take a retrospective look at some of the beautifully-crafted animation work we’ve produced in recent years, and by way of a reminder, here’s some edited highlights for your viewing pleasure…

Keep checking back for progress on this and other exciting work, plus news of 2 major projects (hinted at in the last post) which we will be publically announcing very soon…

UNDER WRAPS…

20 Jan

It’s been a crazy few weeks both sides of the Christmas break for the brand engineers at Whitenoise, with a significant rebranding project for a multinational client operating in the UK, France, Germany, Italy and Canada keeping us up late at night.

Unfortunately we can’t talk about it yet (or show any of the amazing work we’ve been engaged in) but keep checking back and soon as we can we’ll post it up here.

Another, equally sensitive project has just landed with us too, requiring a complete branding strategy and additional implementation works, which is going to keep us very busy right through 2012 and beyond. Again, all will be revealed over the coming weeks.

HOW WE MADE HER MAJESTY…

10 Jan

By now you’ll have all seen our alternative ‘Queen’s Christmas Message’, but if not, click here and prepare to stand to attention. Want to know how we did it? Sit back and enjoy this quick overview of our outstanding use of technology and props on zero budget…

But seriously folks, remember we can also do all sorts of wonderful corporate video, 3D animation and broadcast quality graphics for clients of all shapes and sizes, not just royal families – so give us a call…

TAKE A BOW, WHITENOISE…

5 Jan

Happy new year to all our readers – hopefully Christmas was all you hoped for and you found yourself on Santa’s Nice rather than Naughty list.

We’ve just had a great start to 2012 with the news from our lovely client the Belfast Grand Opera house that they’ve recorded their second best December in the Theatre’s history.

A flurry of Whitenoise-designed marketing activity, including an eye-catching Christmas gift mailer, some slick social media, a four-show outdoor campaign and a hot new gift voucher has seen sales increase by 53% on this time last year.

Take a bow Team Lynsay!
